Trust quotes
"love all, trust a few, do wrong to none" William Shakespeare.
"Trust is the glue of life. Its the most essential ingredient in effective communication. Its the foundational principle that hold all relationships"Stephen Covey.
"Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement" Golden Meir.
"The trust of the innocent is the liar's most useful tool" Stephen King.
"You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment if you don't trust" Frank Crane.
"Trust but verify" Ronald Reagan.
Whether a friendship, family relationship, or business or personal relationship, any bond is built on trust. Without trust, you have nothing, with it you can do great things. Think about it.

Superstitions
superstition is a cultural belief and theres no way to prove it true, it contain good and bad luck superstitions, and it affect human minds in many ways.
how many times you hear your grand mother saying knock on wood because they say something good, and to avoid what they call (saybet l3ain) the evil eye.
Hanging a baby shoes to the car so it avoid bad luck, its a bad luck to open umbrella inside house, also its bad luck to break a mirror, also its a bad luck if you walk under a ladder.
the act of spilling coffee in real world could lead to burns and stains that would be difficult to remove, in our culture its considered to be a sign of good luck and blessing to those spilling coffee and to the place being spoiled on.(kab l2hwee 5air)
You're in trouble my friend if you found your shoes upside down and that bad luck will go when you turn your shoes right way up.
This some of the superstitions in our culture that i didn't believe on it.

Designing and using performance task(webinar)
I have attended a webinar on march 22-2016 for Jay Mctighe the author of the book understanding by design that we use last semester, in his webinar ha talk about 3 main points:
1- Why use performance tasks?
2- Characteristics of performance tasks.
3-Designing authentic tasks.
He first gave a brief definition for performance task which is any learning activity or assessment that asks students to perform to demonstrate their knowledge skills and understanding. After that he starts with why use performance task, he mention many reasons, some of them are: focus on important outcomes of schooling, support meaningful and engaged learning, and effectively write in various genres for various audiences and purposes ( inform, explain, entertain, persuade, guide or challenge, change things).
Then he mention that every subject has along term goals, performance based and what student will be able to do and understand.
21st century skill are performance goals, critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, communication and collaboration.
some of the characteristics of rich performance tasks:
1- Call for the application and knowledge of skills.
2- Open ended and typically do not yield a single correct answer.
3- Establish novel and authentic contexts for performance.
4- Provide evidence of understanding and transfer.
5- Learning and practicing knowledge, skills, strategies, requires transfer, authentic performance.
Designing authentic tasks that deal with real life materials that motivate the students, that will be applicable in their life and based on their interest.

It's important to be yourself.
when it come to being yourself, there can be a lot of pressure from the outside world as it tries to influence who you are. Living in a society that is constantly developing, its very important to be yourself from the inside out.when you deeply know yourself you set your own goals, you know the boundaries that you have set, you are more likely to experience a fulfilling and a rewarding life, and if not anyone can direct you to the wrong path.
You should be always yourself because you establish your own identity, when you are able to have a solid foundation of being you, you are establishing your own identity. No matter what happen in your life, you will have the ability to overcome any obstacle, also it make you build your courage and inner strength. When you are always yourself, you are more likely to have focus and direction in your life, no matter what you experience in life, the only person that will always remain constant is you.

Advantages and disadvantages of power point presentation.
Slide presentation software such as power point has become an ingrained part of instructional settings particularly in large classes and in classes that need more information exchange rather than skill development. Power point can be highly effective effective tool to aid learning, but if not used carefully may instead disengage students and actually hinder learning.
Potential benefits of using presentation includes, engaging multiple learning styles, increasing visual impacts, easy to present and maintain eye contact with large audience and easy to make it attractive and modify it. Although there are many potential to power point, there are many several issues that could create problems or disengagement, its teacher centered, lack of feedback because it tell you nothing about students learning if you didn't design them with opportunities to show feedback, in some cases theres no balance between using of images and text either its full of images or full of text which is also not good.
